The Short Version
Data Storage
All data you create within MiraLog — including entries, settings, and notification preferences — is stored exclusively on your device in local storage. Nothing is transmitted to external servers, cloud services, or third parties.
Data Collection
MiraLog does not collect or process personal data on external servers. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Usage or analytics data
- Device identifiers or fingerprints
- Location data
- Crash reports or diagnostics
Notifications
MiraLog may send local notifications if you choose to enable reminders. These notifications are scheduled and managed entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to or processed by any external service.
Import & Export
MiraLog allows you to manually export and import your data, for example when switching devices. This process is initiated and controlled entirely by you. Exported data is not uploaded to any server operated by us — it remains in your hands at all times.
Third-Party Services
MiraLog does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or tracking libraries. No data is shared with third parties because no data leaves your device.
In-App Purchases
MiraLog offers an optional tip to support development. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). I do not receive any personal or financial data from these purchases — only an anonymous confirmation that a transaction occurred. All payment processing is handled under the respective platform's own privacy policy.
Distribution Platforms
When downloading MiraLog via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, those platforms may process personal data independently under their own privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
Since MiraLog does not collect any personal data, there are no special concerns regarding children's privacy. The app can be used by anyone without risk of data collection.

Your Rights under GDPR
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your personal data. Since MiraLog stores all data locally on your device and I have no access to it, you can exercise these rights directly — by viewing, editing, exporting, or deleting your data within the app.
Supervisory Authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority for data protection. The competent authority in North Rhine-Westphalia is:

Legal Basis
Since this app does not collect or process personal data on external servers, most provisions of the GDPR regarding data processing do not apply in practice.
Any processing that may occur is limited to local processing on your device and is technically necessary for the functionality of the app (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or based on legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional application (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
I do not collect, store, or transmit personal data on our servers. All data processing takes place locally on your device.
Changes to This Policy
If I update this privacy policy, I will revise the "Last updated" date above. Since I do not collect contact information, I recommend checking this page occasionally.
